One hundred and fifty one years after a magical catastrophe known as the Collapse, the future of the continent is uncertain. In northern Reighja, the Clystudine Continuum and the Queendom of Yaand stand on the brink of open warfare. On the southern half of the continent, the Dynasty of Lamaru struggles to secure the most valuable resource of all; water. Their former protectorate, the Free States of Ecarima, holds the headwaters of the Hayi River hostage and works tirelessly to complete the largest dam the continent has ever seen.
Unbeknownst to the continent at large, refugees from a fallen kingdom have settled a village in the southern jungles, past the ravaged ruins of Banjiha. After Prince Naemin of Lamaru is unexpectedly rescued by Alex, Emma, and Daryl of the village, he and his sister, Amira, find Alex is capable of harnessing an ancient form of minna considered divine by their nation. Although Alex and Amira's personal relationship is strained, she convinces the three villagers to help her save her home in exchange for teaching Alex how to soulshare and providing the adventure of a lifetime.
Alex, Amira, and the rest of their friends embark on a harrowing journey filled with wondrous creatures, scheming politicians, ambitious warlords, ancient secrets, swords, and sorcery to save their homes and prevent the continent of Reighja from succumbing to war and magical ruin once more.
